What’s better than made-to-order cocktails, snacks and free events? We can’t think of anything!

Last week, we had our first Residents’ Event here at The Astley and that’s exactly what was on the menu. And even better, this was all for free!

Our residents can enjoy the lounge whenever they please so we decided to host a cocktail event with a professional mixologist! Our cocktail expert was onsite to keep everyone happy, making custom cocktails depending on your favourite spirits and mixers.

It’s a great chance for our residents to meet each other and become part of our growing community.

It’s our aim to keep holding these great events for residents to enjoy. So, if you live with us we’d love to hear any ideas! And if you don’t live with us already, why not? King Street Festival – 1-2^nd June

The ultimate local street party! One of the best streets in Manchester holds its own festival weekend in early summer, to celebrate the history and future of this heritage shopping destination. Expect food tastings, alfresco dining, music, games and the beautiful Manchester Flower Show. Even the upmarket shops along King Street are getting involved so fingers crossed for some offers!

Parklife Festival – 8-9^th June

Manchester’s biggest music festival returns for what is set to be another incredible year! With performances from Cardi B, George Ezra, Khalid, Disclosure and over 200 more acts, this festival is a hit with locals and visitors alike.

Manchester Day – 23^rd June

An annual celebration of all things Manchester! This street festival is a great day for everyone to get together to celebrate everything great about this city. Get to know what has made Manchester such a fun place to live!

Sounds of the City – Various dates, July

Sounds of the City is back to take over the Castlefield Bowl! Grab tickets to see Kylie Minogue, The Wombats, Elbow and more in this iconic music venue. Who doesn’t love live music?

Manchester Pride Festival – 23-26^th August

Manchester’s adopted pop queen Ariana Grande is headlining this year’s Manchester Pride Festival alongside Years & Years. The festival combines Manchester Pride Live, the Gay Village Party and the Manchester Pride Parade, among other events. It’s sure to be an exciting, fun-filled weekend with the Manchester Pride charity right at its heart.
